ANOTHER STORY ABOUT ALMOST HEAVEN KENNEL

December 10, 2008 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Check out this story from Channel 6 News about Noodles, a puppy a Bensalem couple purchased from Almost Heaven Kennel recently. The title of the Ch. 6 story is “Holiday Warning about Buying Pets” but it doesn’t mention NOT to purchase or adopt a pet for Christmas. This is the worst time of year to get a pet. Many animal shelters across the states are being inundated with unwanted pets due to the economy- so they say. I’ve heard all types of excuses so I couldn’t say if people are using this excuse because it’s convenient at the moment. After the holidays, roughly around March or so, the new puppies or kittens are turned into shelters because the novelty as worn off and they are no longer wanted.
My only question to the couple who purchased him would be the following: How did you not notice the appearance of the kennel? It seems Noodles is on the mend and I’m happy about that. Apparently, there are people who are still oblivious to puppymills.
