BCTV SHOW TOPIC MONDAY TONIGHT – NO-KILL ANIMAL SHELTERS

January 4, 2009 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Tune in to Monday’s program of A Close-Up Look at Animal Welfare Issues on BCTV @ 7:30PM where I will be discussing No-Kill Animal Shelters with my guests Kathy Walker, Vice-President and Pet Adoptions Counselor for One by One Cat Rescue, Lynn Rosencrans, President and Fundraising/Events Coordinator for One by One and Barbara Umlauf, Manager and Animal Control Officer for Hillside SPCA located in Schuylkill County.
Both of these animal rescue organizations define themselves as no-kill. Tune in to see how they differ from traditional animal shelters and how hard they work to help the homeless animals.
This is live call-in program. Please feel free to call in with your questions or comments. The number to call during the live program is 610-378-0426. The replay times are Wednesday @ 1:30PM, Thursday @ 10:30PM and Friday @ 9:30AM. You can also view the program in the archives section at BCTV’s website.
Be sure to check out Tuesday’s Reading Eagle’s person of the week- Kathy Walker. Kathy is a dedicated hard-working advocate for One by One and deserves much credit for what she does.
