Hey, I brag about my dogs and their special abilities. Shadow knows and understands words. If I tell him to get his ball, he will look for it until he finds it and then he brings it to me. Only for me not to have it. He dares me to grab it. Shadow watches and listens to hand signals as well. He can sit, speak, shake paws, roll over, crawl, and go around in a circle on his hind legs. He also has climbed trees!
Then there’s my Jazz who climbs a ladder..yes, a ladder that leads up to my attic… my Jazz must be near me at all times. Jazz knows basic commands including jumping. He’s like a bouncy ball when I say jump. Both Shadow and Jazz understand many words including “let’s go”. That is when they know they’re going for a car ride. But as smart as my boys are, I don’t think they’re as smart as Sonny, the Wonder Dog who apparently can read words off of cards. Can Sonny read words? Watch the video and you decide.
