Has your pet become ill late at night or after your veterinarian or animal hospital is closed? What do you do? Where do you take your pet? There is help!

Tune in Wednesday evening at 6:30 when my guest Carl Veltri, DVM, will talk about Berks County’s only Animal Emergency and Referral Center. We will cover what situations need immediate help and what this emergency center can do for your pet.

You can see the show live on Ch. 2 (Comcast), Ch. 19 (Service Electric) or you can streamlne the show live on the internet by clicking on this link.

Feel free to call in with questions or comments for my guest during the show at 610-378-0426.

I hear they’re quite expensive. I can’t afford that like I can’t affore my own insurance under obamamiecare!

Are you open every night? Do most pets stay overnight in your facility?

I have a question. Is a pet emergency if I find a tick on my dog late at night? I don’t want my dog to get lyme disease. That has already happened and the outcome was sad. My dog died because of it. What do I do?

Caught some of the show. Your guest was good. Good idea to call first. You can save money by doing that. You can see your own vet in the morning then.
