This Saturday, June 28th, Eden Farm Equine Sanctuary is inviting the public to visit them and their home to 100 animals starting at 12 PM.

This is a great event for the entire family!!

The sanctuary is trying to raise funds to help with the care of the animals entrusted to them. There will be a bake sale (yummy), art and craft vendors including jewlery and more.

A book store/ tack shop that is on the premises will be selling books very inexpensively plus equine items.

Tours will be available for those who want to see some of the animals this sanctuary has helped over the years. You just might see Magic and her foal, Charro. Charro was born last month.

Eden Farm Equine Sanctuary is located at 5181 Rt 419, Womelsdorf, PA 19567. Take Rt 422 East (traveling toward Myerstown), and make a right hand turn at the light (Rt. 419) and drive for a few miles. It is located on the right side of the road.  A pasture is located beside the barn that houses horses, turkeys and a pig to name a few.

Learn more about the sanctuary and how these animals have been saved from death. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Gayle Cooper – 610-589-1049 or cell 717-679-5178 (easier to get Gayle using this phone number) or go to their website for more information. (The link is located at the top.)

Donations are greatly needed and appreciated. The sanctuary receives no assisance from other organizations. They rely on private donations. They do a fantastic job taking care of the multitude of animals. It’s a lot of work and they love what they do. They want to continue their work but need your help.

Come out this Saturday for a great cause!
