Animals are not mere things. Most Americans agree with this, but our current laws and practices don’t reflect this fact. This is something many animal advocates would like to change.

We invite you to join us on Tuesday 26th of the DNC, when an array of esteemed speakers will share their advice on using the legislative process to improve the lives of animals. Vegan food will be provided.

The confirmed speakers are:
• Former PA State Senator Roy Afflerbach
• PA Senator Andy Dinniman
• Philadelphia Councilman Kenyatta Johnson, District 2
• PA State Representative Madeleine Dean, District 153
• PA Senator Daylin Leach’s Chief of Staff, Zach Hoover
• NJ State Senator and likely Gubernatorial Candidate Raymond Lesniak
• NJ Freeholder Jeffrey Nash
• PA State Representative Kevin Schrieber

The event will be held at Philadelphia City Institute Neighborhood Library, 1905 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 – right next to Rittenhouse Square!

This event is co-organized by The Humane League, the HSLF,and Penn Animal Advocacy.
