Hairball Awareness Day is all about your cat and the grooming challenges they can possibly face. Most cats groom themselves in order to keep themselves looking gorgeous!
Mother cats groom their furry babies which teaches the young ones to continue to groom themselves as they become more independent.
With this ongoing grooming, there will be ingestion of fur and most likely a hairball will be regurgitated.
You can help your cat by regularly grooming your frisky felines with a brush. This one act can lessen the amount of hair your cat will ingest.
If your cat has periodic hairballs, that is normal. If they occur on a more frequent basis, this can definitely be an issue.
