October is Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month and dogs need forever homes more than ever!
Check out your local shelters and rescues!
Before you adopt, make sure you’re ready to take care of a dog which includes the cost of medical care, food, grooming (for some,) treats, toys, etc. Having a dog is a lot of fun and they give so much in return.
But, if you don’t have the time to spend with the dog, please rethink your decision.
You can always share photos of pets looking for homes. You can volunteer at a shelter. You can donate to rescues. Please make sure they’re legit!
