Caroline Ruane of World Animal Day will be joining me via skype on my television show to talk about how we as animal advocates can be involved in helping animals in a variety of ways.
World Animal Day is celebrated on October 4th each year. It is an international day of action to create awareness of the plight of animals around the world. The day is to show how animals are sentient beings and how we need to make the world a better place for them!
It has been celebrated since 1925. Now in it 92nd year, World Animal Day has 73 countries involved and 93 Ambassadors. The events held are as diverse as the Ambassadors!
I am honored to be the World Animal Day Ambassador for the United States.
Caroline lives in the UK where she is constantly working on making the world a better place for animals.
