Faith in Urgent Need of Home: Her 90 yr. old owner has Brain Cancer and Must Leave Home and Unable to Take Her

August 15, 2016 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein 5 Comments

Please take a good look at Faith.  She is in urgent need of a new home.    This girl is a 10 year old female corgi/lab mix.

Sadly, Faith’s 90 year old parent was diagnosed with brain cancer and must now leave home.   Faith is not allowed to go with him.

Faith is spayed and up-to-date on her shots.   The only health issue facing this sweetheart is her weight.   She needs more exercise.    Hopefully,  her new foster/home can provide this for Faith.

Faith’s owner said she is good around other dogs.  Her tail will wag non-stop!   She is also good with children; however, that hasn’t been tested.

If someone can foster this girl,  a senior rescue is willing to take her as soon as they have room.

All expenses for Faith will be covered by senior rescue.  Please contact Michele at michelegracefarm@yahoo.com or Kathy at kslagle11@email.com for PAWS.

Pocono Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (PAWS) is a 501c3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization. We are committed to helping a…bandoned, abused, lost and unwanted animals in the Pocono region and promoting community awareness about spay/neuter, animal wellness and safety.

We do not maintain a shelter/facility; instead, we rely on the generosity and kindness of volunteers who are willing to foster animals in need. NOTE: We do not transport dogs into PA from the south.

Let’s help Faith find a new home so her owner can rest easy.

    She is gorgeous. I wish
I could help out with her. Good luck finding a home. I feel badly for her owner. To get brain cancer and be forced to give up your dog is beyond sad. Hope Faith will be able to see her owner after she finds a new home.

What a beautiful dog. Did she find a home? I sure wish I could give her a home. It’s so sad that you had to give up his dog while battling brain cancer. I wish them all the best

Faith’s story is so sad. To be separated at her age from her owner is very heartbreaking. I hope she finds a very good home and they allow her to visit her “dad.”
