HB 39 PASSES THROUGH HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES- ALMOST NEW LAW

August 19, 2009 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

House Bill 39 which would make it unlawful for puppymillers to perform tail-docking, ear cropping, c-sections without using general anesthesia by a board-certified veterinarian has once again passed in the PA House.
The last step to this ever-important bill becoming law is Governor Rendell’s signature.
Many thanks to Rep. Thomas Caltagirone for sponsoring this bill and to the people who called their representatives to get this passed. You did it again!!
Special thanks to Mary for this update. And as Mary told me and I concur- YAY!!
