I received the following urgent message from Humane Officer, Janine Choplick, of Hillside SPCA to help this injured dog, Hazel.
URGENT! Please help us help Hazel!!! She was turned in yesterday as a stray with a broken rear right leg, likely from being hit by a car. Her injury will require an orthopedic surgeon’s repair. She is a shephard mix and onlly five months of age with the sweetest disposition.
The cost estimate for Hazel’s surgery will be $4,000-$5,000. Please help us help Hazel. How can you resist her sweet puppy face!!
