HSUS OFFERING REWARD OF TWO DOGS WHO WERE SHOT AND KILLED IN CHESTER COUNTY, PA

November 4, 2009 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

I am a day late with the press release I received from the HSUS concerning the horrible tragedy that occurred on Sunday, October 25th in Chester County.
Two pet dogs, Luna , a 2 yr. old Pointer mix and Emma a 1 1/2 German Short-hair Pointer mix, were found dead by a woman walking near railroad tracks on that Sunday- each shot execution style between the eyes. Their bodies were then placed tail to tail with their backs against the tracks. They had been reported missing by their owners a few hours earlier.

According to the HSUS, they are offering a reward of up to $2500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the execution-style shooting of the two dogs in Pennsbury Township, PA.

According to Sarah Speed, PA State Director for the HSUS, “Anyone who is capable of committing cruelty to animals can be dangerous to people”. She continues to say “Americans have no tolerance for violence against the creatures who share our world.”

The Chester County SPCA is investigating. Anyone with any information is asked to call 610-692-6113.

We live in a sick world where a person or persons could kill dogs so brutally and in cold blood. I hope they catch these bastards.
