HUMANE SOCIETY OF BERK COUNTY IS ACTIVATING THEIR “EMERGENCY FREE TO GREAT HOME PROGRAM”

June 14, 2009 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

You can find Daisy, an adult spayed female at the Reading branch of the Humane Society.
I received an announcement from the Humane Society that due to facing an “acute and severe space crisis for cats”, they are activating their “free to a great home program: for cats only.
This program applies to all cats one year and older. The Humane Society says this has proven to be successful in the past and finds it needs to incoroporate this program because of too many cats currently entering their doors. We are in kitten season when mothers and kittens enter animal shetlers in record numbers. And the Humane Society is no exception.
To counteract euthanizing cats, the Humane Society is offering this program to any QUALIFIED adopted. All of the same rules apply to adopt a cat. With each successful adoption, each cat is vaccinated, sterilized and comes with a 30 day health guarantee.
If you are looking for a cat and would like to save a life, stop by the Humane Society. Remember, make this a lifetime commitment! Save a life- Adopt!!
