I THOUGHT SKINNING OF DOGS ONLY HAPPENED IN CHINA

November 27, 2008 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Last Friday a homeowner in St. Roch, Louisiana found a dog in his front yard that had been skinned alive and later died. According to the Lousiana SPCA, the wounds on the dog were consistent of being skinned sometime between last Thursday evening and Friday morning. He was not completely skinned but most of him had been skinned, not that it matters – the heinous crime was already inflicted.
No one knows why this dog was mutilated in this manner but one LASPCA humane officer felt it may have been to done to use this dog as bait to arouse other dogs. They simply don’t know why this was done to this poor dog.
Because of the community outrage over this horrific case of animal cruelty, the original reward of $500.00 has been increased to $1750.00.
If the person or persons is found and convicted, they could be fined $25,000 and spend up to 10 yrs. in jail. Let’s hope and pray they find the perpetrator(s) and justice is served!
It’s bad enough they skin dogs and cats in China but to have it happen here in the US has my blood boiling even more. What sick individual could do this? What is wrong with these people? They are sick and demented and should not be allowed to be in society. It’s time to remove these sick bastards from the streets and put them in jail for a very long time!!
That poor dog and the pain he had to have felt! I say let’s skin the bastard who did this! Give him a taste of his own medicine.
