A website is devoted to help make Vice President Elect Joe Biden aware of the major error in judgement when he bought a puppy from a PA mass commercial breeder (puppymill) instead of an animal shelter.
You can sign a petition that will be sent to Biden at a future date. PETA will be airing ads about Biden’s choice of a new puppy. It doesn’t look as if this will go away anytime soon.
I have heard the outrage over Biden’s decision and have heard the cries and woes from others saying there are more important issues facing Americans today. There is a call for Biden to return the puppy. Biden won’t physically have the puppy until after the inauguration. Supposedly Linda Brown, the owner of Wolf Den Kennel, will keep the puppy until that time.
I don’t feel the puppy should be returned. It is not the fault of the puppy. I know, I know, I can hear people yelling at me saying the purchase of this puppy is contributing to the puppymill business.
Biden coud use his mistake and make people aware, once again, of the misery of puppymills as I stated in an earlier post. If you think about it, Biden’s choice of a commercial breeder has brought more attention to puppymills. This could be a blessing in disguise. It has generated talk and it has shed light on the topic of puppymills again.
