JESSE JAMES, SANDRA BULLOCK’S HUSBAND, IS FINALLY REUNITED WITH HIS LOST DOG

February 17, 2010 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Jesse James’s reunion with his dog, CinnaBun
Ok, I didn’t know much about Sandra Bullock’s husband, Jesse James (pictured) except he was on a reality show.
What captured my attention was a picture I had seen three weeks ago when his dog, CinnaBun, went missing.
James had put up fliers, hired a pet detective and offered a reward of $5,000 for the safe return of his beloved pet.
When CinnaBun went missing, I had read how upset James was and how desperate he wanted her back.
Today, Jesse and his dog, CinnaBun were finally reunited when a woman spotted a flier of his and took CinnaBun to James’ Long Beach bike (motorcycle) shop today.
The reason I wrote about this reunion is that it reminded me of the time my dog Buddy ran away from my dad who was dogsitting for me. It was New Year’s eve day when Buddy escaped out my dad’s front door when he answered a knock at the door.
Buddy was a dog my husband and I rescued and we only had him alittle over a month at the time of his disappearance. He and I were attached and I believe he was searching for me. It is a horrible feeling not knowing where your pet is. I was so devastated and never thought I would see him again.
We put ads in the paper, called radio stations, put up fliers and offered a reward. We drove everywhere looking for Buddy. We put out food. We placed a coat of my husband’s at the last place where a kid had seen him hoping Buddy would smell a familiar odor and stay there. But he didn’t.
In the end, it was the flier that reunited Buddy with us. He had been seen running back and forth at a Rod and Gun Club while men were shooting at targets. No one could get near him. Buddy barely trusted us let alone strangers.
He walked a long journey until he finally made his way into someone’s garage- completely exhausted!
The husband saw our homemade flier and called us. I never thought I would see Buddy again. It was a happy ending for us and for CinnaBun.
The moral of this story -don’t underestimate the power of a simple flier and never give up hope!
