KATE GOSSELIN WANTS THE DOGS BACK – IN TIME FOR THEM TO PULL HER KIDS ON THEIR SLEDS THIS WINTER

September 24, 2009 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Do I truly want to write another entry on the Gosselin saga? Not really but I thought this warranted an entry.
In a video of Kate Gosselin speaking at a women’s conference (why her?) , she said the following about their former dogs, Shoka and Nala: “He (Jon) called the breeder and took them back for a short period of time. I’m feeling like I have not enough time to take care of my kids, let alone give the dogs what they need, and the kids surprisingly weren’t that upset about. They’ll come back I’m sure at some point. But for now, I just need a break.”
(Now here’s the kicker)
She also continued to say that she wants the Shoka and Nala to come back near the winter time to pull the kids in their sleds.
She wants them back at her convenience to pull her eight kids on sleds! What a moronic statement! Who are these idiots and why do we listen to them? The only reason I have written about this is to show how NOT to be responsible pet owners.
Pets are not meant to be given back to the breeder/shelter/rescue etc. at your convenience and then proceed to take them back when you decide it’s okay and you want them back home to “pull the kids in their sleds”.
These two people- Jon and Kate- are clearly irresponsible and it shows in the manner in which they conduct themselves on and off screen.
The breeder of the dogs- Jeff Christopher- has also said he will keep the 15 month old dogs for as long as the family needs him to. He has no plans to adopt them out if Jon and Kate do decide not take them back at all. They will stay in his family, Christopher said.
At least, they will have a good home and I feel that is where they should stay.
Would you give the dogs back to the Gosselin’s?
