Kristen Linsdey, Vet who Killed Cat with Arrow, Allowed to Keep her Veterinary License

October 18, 2016 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein 6 Comments

Kristen Lindsey, the veterinarian who shot and killed a pet cat with her bow and arrow last year, will be able to continue to practice veterinary medicine in the future after the Veterinary Board has made the decision to temporarily suspend her veterinary license.  The Animal Legal Defense Fund who felt Lindsey committed egregious felony animal cruelty is deeply disappointed by the Board’s decision.  They feel the slap on the wrist will put animals in the community at great risk in the future and taints the name of the trusted veterinary profession.

In April 2015, Lindsey posted photos of her holding a cat with an arrow through his neck and smiling.   Her caption read, ” “My first bow kill, lol. The only good feral tomcat is one with an arrow through it’s [sic] head! Vet of the year award… gladly accepted, ”

Her actions caused public outrage across the nation and social media.   Lindsey was fired from the Washington Animal Clinic in Brenham, Texas after receiving hundreds of angry phone calls from around the world and a bomb threat   Her license was suspended and she has been fighting to keep it through appeals.    Lindsey claimed the cat was feral.   Her neighbors have claimed it was their pet cat, Tiger.

If a doctor purposely killed a human they would be prosecuted for murder and lose their license to practice medicine, so why didn’t she get prosecuted and lose her license to practice. That cat was a fur child to a family and they deserve justice. What Vets don’t take an Oath or practice compassion for the beings they care for? This is sad and injustice.

Some doctors r allowed to participate in assisted suicide, a form of euthanasia for humans. This “vet” didn’t perform euthanasia on Tiger. She killed him in cold blood with zero remorse. It’s called murder! What is wrong with the judge? She meant do harm! This is injustice!

Kristen Lindsey is a piece of crap too. The fact that she posed with the “dead” cat is sickening and not professional. How could they give back her vet license? She makes me sick!

She’s also a sick ____! Posting the photo online and so proud of her actions is not the actions of a veterinarian. Who would want to take their pet to her after this? I hope no one gives her a second chance including animal hospitals and people and their pets. She will have to give up then.

Speaking of the vet who shot the neighbor’s cat. Shame on you, Kristen Lindsey. You hunted this cat and killed Tiger, a pet cat. That isn’t what ethical hunters do.

Total bull! There’s no way she should’ve been allowed to get her vet license returned to her. Who is going to entrust her with their pets, especially their cats?
