MICHAEL VICK SIGNS FIRST NATIONAL ENDORSEMENT DEAL

January 26, 2011 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Michael Vick, the current QB for the Eagles and former dog killer and convicted felon, has signed what seems to be a lucrative deal with Unequal Technologies.
Before Vick had been arrested and convicted of running a dogfighting ring and subsequently killing a number of his dogs by electrocuting, drowning, hanging etc.., Vick was a huge endorser of many products. Of course, those deals dried up with his subsequent conviction and incarceration.
Unequal Technologies has asked Vick to endorse their football pads. Vick apprently wore a protective vest, made by Unequal Technologies, earlier this football season to protect his injured ribs. So now Vick becomes the face of this company based in Kennett Square, PA.
From Unequal Technologies:

“We believe it was worth it,” he said, “because of Michael Vick and how he can shed light on the technology of our products.”
“We’re real excited about it,” Vito said. “Michael is good people. He paid his dues. President Obama reached out to him. He deserves an opportunity. This is what makes America so great. He’s moved forward. He’s a whole other person.”
I’m all for giving people a second chance in life. But to be richly rewarded after committing brutal and deadly attacks against man’s best friend is beyond my comprehension. This man is continually lauded by others including our very own President who, in my opinion, should be more concerned about the welfare of our country than a football player.
I guess it really does pay to do crime. Only in America!
