MICHAEL VICK TO ADD CONSTRUCTION WORKER TO HIS RESUME

April 3, 2009 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Michael Vick, soon-to-be ex-NFL Atlanta Falcons player now serving a prison sentence for bankrolling a dogfighting ring in which he participated in the killing of dogs that underperformed has told a US Bankruptcy Court via his lawyer, Michael Blumenthal, that he will now work 40 hours a week as a construction worker when he is released from his prison sentence. Huh?
Vick had announced last week that he planned on returning to the NFL after he he serves his prison sentence which includes home confinement for the last months beginning no sooner than May 21st. It must be nice to have it so tough.
Vick has agreed to pay the Falcons $6.5 million as part of his bankruptcy case. This will bring Vick and the Falcons one step closer to parting ways. The Falcons have made it known they do not want him back.
Vick has stated that he feels he can get a $10 million deal with another NFL team. First, who would want him? Can you imagine all of the fans who love animals not wanting to see Vick on the field?
Second, if Vick wants to get back into the NFL, why does he want a 40 hr. a week construction job? Do I smell a publicity stunt? Does this person have no shame? I think we know the answer.
