PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS HEADLINE- COULD JOURNALISTS SINK ANY LOWER?

Yes, this is a play on words. But “TOP DOG”? For a man who participated in the brutal and horrific deaths of pit bulls that were part of his dog fighting kennel. For a man who was sent to jail for the hideous and repulsive crimes he committed against man’s best friend. Really?
Why did the Philadelphia Daily News feel this necessary to capitalize on these deaths? Isn’t it also ironic that the word “shocking” was used since many of his Vick’s former dogs were electrocuted to death?
Are you more disgusted by Vick, the newspaper or both? Weigh in with your thoughts.
