RESOURCES FOR BACKYARD WILDLIFE HABITATS

July 17, 2008 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

On my BCTV show , A Closer -up Look at Animal Welfare Issues, we mentioned a few places in our area where you can obtain more information about ponds, landscaping, birds and so much more.
D.P. Randler is located on Rt. 422 in Robesonia ~ Dave can help you with plants, birdbaths and fountains of all kinds. They have an assortment of items for your yard. His phone number is 610-693-8205. Many thanks to Dave for allowing me to take photos of water foutains for the show!
Wild Birds Unlimited is located in Sinking Spring. Their phone number is 610-670-5508. You can find any type of bird supplies here. They have a wealth of knowledge.
Fleetwood Building Block ~ phone number ~ 610-944-8385. They hold seminars for the public about building your own pond. Good resource!
Jack’s Backyard Program on WEEU hosted by Jack Holcomb. You can listen to Jack every Saturday morning from 8-10. Jack talks about birdwatching and the birds that are native to Pennsylvania.
These are all great resources to utilize to create a backyard wildlife habitat. Good luck!!
