THE AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER- BAD DOG OR BAD PRESS/TUNE INTO BCTV TOMORROW NIGHT @ 7:30 TO FIND OUT

January 3, 2010 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Can you name the breed of this dog? Is it an American Pit Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, American Bulldog or Boxer, perhaps some other breed of dog? People mistake the “pit bull” for these other breeds very often. Still don’t the answer. Check for it at the end of this entry.

Tune into BCTV tomorrow night at 7:30 PM to find out more about the American Pit Bull Terrier and the negative reputation it has received. Do you feel it is justified? Do you feel the media is responsible for their bad rap?
Are you scared of Pit Bulls and why? Do you feel we need Breed Specific Legislation (BSL)? Do you truly feel you know what a Pit Bull looks like let alone the true temperment of a Pit Bull?
My guests will include Vicky Hoffman, Pit Bull advocate/rescuer and Valerie Berg, Pit Bull advocate/rescuer. These two women will enlighten you to the true American Pit Bull Terrier with their knowledge and hands-on experience with this “breed”.
If you have any questions for my guests, please feel free to leave them in the comment section or you can email me @ tevangelistaepp@yahoo.com. Or you can call in during the live program on Ch. 13 (Service Electric) or Ch. 19 (Comcast).
You can also streamline the program, live,on bctv.org.

Answer: the American Bulldog
