TNR WORKSHOP TO BE HELD LOCALLY

October 9, 2011 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

I received the following announcement from Lynn Smith, President of Safe Cat Network, Inc about an upcoming TNR workshop:
In Celebration of National Feral Cat Day (Oct. 16th), The Fairchild Foundation and The Safe Cat Network will present a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) workshop on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 @ 7 PM at the Animal Rescue League meeting room – Kennel Road and Routes 724/176.

The workshop will provide feral (and stray) cat feeders, colony caregivers and those interested in homeless cats a hands-on approach on how to successfully trap and care for feral cats, as well as spay/neuter clinic requirements and instructions on releasing the cats back to their colonies.

There will be refreshments, literature and a drawing for a FREE spay or neuter at a Fairchild clinic for a feral cat.

To register by email: fairchildfoundation@gmail.com or call 610-763-8382

Workshop is free but a donation of cat litter and cat/kitten food to help the ARL is appreciated
