Tonight’s tv show topic – Pet Food Banks

Tune in to this evening’s broadcast as my guest, Steven Hoover, speaks about the pet food bank he started in western Pennsylvania through his church.

The St Marks Episcopal Church Pet Food Bank was started in 2013 and has helped hundreds of families and their pets.

Find out how Mr. Hoover started this much-needed program for his community and how it is thriving today.  Pet food banks are essential in today’s economy by allowing people to keep their pets and not forcing them to surrender their beloved family member to a shelter due to a lack of food.

The show starts at 6:30 PM on Ch. 15 (Comcast) Ch. 19(Service Electric).  Can’t see the show in  your area?  Streamline the show live over the internet by clicking on this link.

If it weren’t for the pet food bank, I wouldn’t be able to feed my dog. I feel people look down on me at times. When I first adopted my dog, I had no problems financially. My hours were cut as were my husband’s so it’s made it rough for us. I don’t ever want to give up my dog either. I’m very thankful for the pet food bank.
