TUNE IN TO BCTV WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 6:30- TOPIC- COMPASSION FATIGUE

February 22, 2010 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein

Tune into my tv show Wednesday evening, the 24th, on BCTV at 6:30 PM when my topic will be compassion fatigue among animal care workers.
Many people in caregiving professions can suffer from compassion fatigue. When you are surrounded by animals that are abused, homeless and euthanized on a regular basis, there can be serious effects on those who help these animals.
Find out how what signs can be an indicator of compassion fatigue with my guests, Elizabeth Jackson, Director of Pheonix Counseling Center and Rachel Mann, Founder and Owner of Metta Knowledge for Peace.
We will also be discussing the prevention and treatment of compassion fatigue.
Note: This is a new time slot for my show on BCTV- the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM.
This is a live call-in show. Viewers are welcomed to call in during the program at 610-378-0426. You may also email me personally with questions/comments for the show at tevangelistaepp@yahoo.com.
