Tune into National Geographic’s , ” The Dog Whisperer” with Cesar Millan this evening at 9 PM as he explores puppymills firsthand. He will give the viewers an inside look at these horrendous practices of breeding dogs for profit.
Joining him will be Chris DeRose of Last Chance for Animals. Chris has joined forces with PuppyMill Awareness Day here in Lancaster County, PA every year since its inception. I know of Chris’s dedication to this cause personally.
I hope this show is better than the last two shows who showcased puppymills. The plight of these dogs needs to be told in a more direct way to get the viewers to understand where the puppies in pet stores are bought and where and how the mothers and fathers live their entire lives.
Food for thought- Sunday is Mother’s Day and many of you will be taking your mom out to dinner etc………..but what about the moms stuck in puppymills breeding every cycle until their bodies give out and are discarded when no longer can make money for the puppymillers. Don’t forget about those moms this Sunday!!!
