TV PROGRAM POSTPONED: Animal Rescue or Scams- tomorrow night’s tv topic

November 25, 2014 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein 2 Comments

UPDATE- TV SHOW POSTPONED.  NEW TIME AND DATE: TBA

Join me tomorrow evening at 6:30 PM as Animal Rescues or Scams will be discussed with fellow animal welfare advocate, Alison Mednick Buzzota Hector.

Animal rescue scams have existed for a long time. There are so many animal rescues that exist to help homeless animals. Their objective is to always help the animals.

Scam rescues focus on money and it is gained at the cost of the animal, if the pet does, in fact, exist.

Due to social media, animal rescue scams have exploded over the internet and many of us can’t or don’t know who is real or fake. It is difficult to ascertain the true rescues from the scam artists,  but there are red flags in which to notice the difference.

Join me as Ms. Hector will tell us how to recognize the red flags and what we can do about them.

They say knowledge is power and in this case, you need all the information you can grab so you, too, won’t be a victim of an animal rescue scam!

The show starts at 6:30 PM on Ch. 15 (Comcast) Ch. 21 (Service Electric). The program airs in Pennsylvania.  Can’t see the show in  your area?  Streamline the show live over the internet by clicking on this link.
