UPDATE : Mocha

April 28, 2013 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein 22 Comments

Sadly and unfortunately, the news about Mocha is not good.

Mocha’s body was found the other day. It is believed that she was hit by a car.

This is not the outcome the family nor anyone was seeking. What the family does have is closure.

I am so very sorry for Mocha’s human family. My deepest sympathies to the family.

RIP, Mocha.

Mocha has crossed over the rainbow bridge. She’s free to run and play. She’s happy even though her family isn’t. Cherish her memories.

I feel badly for the children. You said she was kid-friendly so I’m assuming she came from a family with kids. That’s a painful lesson to learn.

It’s never easy to lose a pet no matter what the circumstances. Losing a pet at any age is painful. I sympathize and empathize with the family of Mocha. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

There’s nothing I can say to wipe away the tears, to drown the sorrow, to bring Mocha back. Relish the memories. She will live on in your heart. Rest in Peace, Mocha.

I have no words to express my sorrow. You always hope for the best and don’t think about the possibility of losing a pet.

I’m so sorry for the family and kids. I’m going to give my dog an extra hug and kiss tonight. You never know what can happen. This isn’t what I wanted to hear.

I didn’t know Mocha but I sit here crying for her little soul. What a beautiful dog and she is no longer here. Life is so unfair. She was too young to die. I am partial to pit bulls. They get a bad reputation that is not deserved. In the right hands, they make wonderful pets. They are so lovable. Oh, Mocha, I feel so bad for you and your family that loved you.

So totally unexpected to hear this despairing news. I guess we’ll never understand why bad things happen.

This shows how we have to be vigilant with our pets. Anything can happen at any time. Poor baby.

I didn’t want to see this. At least, the family has answers and closure. A sad ending to a life cut too short. Good bye, Mocha. Sounds like you were so loved. RIP, girl.
