If you were betting the conditions for the animals at the former Tiger King “Joe Exotic” Tiger Compound which is now owned by Jeff and Lauren Lowe would have improved, you would’ve have lost that bet.
SHARK, Showing Animals Respect and Kindness, has just released a new video shot by their drone that exposes animal cruelty at the new Tiger King compound in Oklahoma. The Lowes featured in the video made threats against SHARK investigators. Lauren hailed a gun as the drone flew above the compound. It appeared as if she was planning to shoot the drone down. Jeff came close to hitting SHARK president Steve Hindi with his vehicle as he pulled away where Hindi was standing.
The Lowes have been ordered by a federal judge to turn over, “all big cat cubs, under one year of age, and their mothers to the U.S. government.”
SHARK filmed the footage in late December 2020 to show the current conditions of the alleged NEW tiger compound.
In the latest SHARK video, you can see tigers in mental distress as they pace back and forth repeatedly, a condition that is seen in many animals kept in small quarters which is what happened here. I’ve witnessed this unsettling behavior at a zoo firsthand.
Also shown in the video was a worker dispensing poor quality food from unsanitary containers to be given to the tigers. According to SHARK, this is not the proper food for tigers.
Before the Lowes took over the tiger compound from the previous notorious owner, SHARK had a history with the original (pictured) Tiger King “Joe Exotic” beginning in 2015. At a fair in Iowa in 2016, SHARK investigator Janet Enoch was bullied by Joe and his “thugs” while being filmed. He said he was going to call the police as Enoch invited him to do so.
In 2019, Exotic aka Joseph “Exotic” Maldonado-Passage, was convicted for “illegally killing five endangered tigers, the illegal trade of endangered species and a murder-for-hire plot that targeted rival animal sanctuary owner Carole Baskin.” Maldonado-Passage was hoping to be pardoned by President Trump and had a truck limousine waiting for him outside of the prison which was never used. He was sentenced to 22 years in prison and will be 74 when released.
“Joe Exotic is right where he deserves to be,” according to Ms. Enoch, “and hopefully Jeff and Lauren Lowe will soon be joining him.”

They’re pigs and abusers like joe __ exotic, the mentally deranged former owner. These people aren’t fit to have animals! Why haven’t they turned over the cats? Why do so many animal “caretakers “ always look so bad? You get a bad feeling when looking at them. Why do ppl support them? Y can’t they see through them? Man this makes me so angry!
No they aren’t fit to have animals as the video clearly shows. I know it makes you angry! Makes me angry too! Not enough is being done to stop animal abuse. Abusers will abuse. I believe some can be rehabilitated but it’s the very few who actually make those changes. I have no idea why people don’t research more before they give their hard-earned money to some of these scam places. I’m as baffled as you.

All of these sideshow places run by not too smart who are looking to make a buck shouldn’t be allowed to have animals like this. Aren’t there laws against this? People can buy any exotic animal online and this has to change. People have wised up and use the internet as a place to get their animals and bypass their local laws. Criminals will always find a way. Puppy millers do it. Why not people who keep exotic animals. Nothing stops them.
