Daisy, who was Forced to live Outdoors, is really Looking for a Home!

February 23, 2016 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein 2 Comments

This is Daisy, a sweet 2 1/2 year old Lab mix, who is really looking for a home.  She is a happy dog despite having to live outside for most her life.  She didn’t have anyone to be her companion.  She has been with the Pocono Animal Welfare Society for over a year.  She doesn’t get get along with most dogs put they don’t want you to pass her by because she’s a really great dog and a wonderful companion.
Everyone says Daisy is a very sweet dog despite having to live outdoors for most of her life.  She is finally happy and would make a loving, devoted companion for someone according to PAWS.  She is a very good house dog and always happy to entertain herself with toys, especially those with squeakers.  She also loves to run and chase a ball.
Right now, Daisy is living in a boarding facility because there is no available foster home for her.  She likes some dogs, but not most.  PAWS is looking for a dog experienced person/couple because she is very smart and highly trainable.  No small children please because sometimes she resource guards.  She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on shots and housebroken.
If you are interested in meeting Daisy or want information about her, please call please call Kathleen at PAWS at 570-688-6427 or email nfo@poconoanimalwelfaresociety.org

Poor thing. I hope she finds a home soon. I have another dog so it wouldn’t work. Plus, I have grandkids.
