TV Show Replay- "Kokito's Law"

Lindsay Larris, Special Counsel Attorney of Legislative Affairs for the Animal Legal Defense Fund, will talk about the bill introduced by State Senator Marisol Alcantara of New York, “Kokito’s Law.”

Kokito was the 10 month old puppy who was placed in an overhead compartment on a United Airlines flight.    Kokito, a French bulldog, was found deceased after his owner removed him once the plane landed 3 1/2 hours later.

The flight attendant who placed the TSA approved carrier in the bin said she didn’t know there was a puppy in the carrier.

Lindsay and I will talk about what is in this bill and what it will mean for our pets on planes.

Tune in at 9:30 PM (EST),  Ch. 15 (Comcast) and Ch. 21 (Service Electric).   Can’t see the show in  your area?  Streamline the show live over the internet by clicking on this link.

Kokito shouldn’t of been on the plane. The breed is prone to breathing problems and made worse on planes. People should know this. Allowing someone to bully you into putting your puppy inside a chamber with no vents- shame on you. You don’t let them do it. You get off the plane. This isn’t all the airline’s fault. Some airlines refuse certain breeds like Kokito’s because of their breathing problems and how they died on planes in the past. The owners is also responsible.
