Happy 4th of July- keep your pets safe!

July 4, 2020 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein 2 Comments

I wish everyone a very Happy 4th of July!   It’s not the same as previous years but we can still celebrate!

Unfortunately, many have been setting off fireworks almost on a daily basis and scaring pets.

I’m sure it will be worse this evening, so please keep your pets secured in your home away from the noise!!

Pets tend to run off when they’re scared from the loud booms.    It’s always best to keep them in a safe, quiet area during fireworks.

Since we can’t stop the fireworks, even dynamite from going off, we can make sure our pets are safe!!

Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!!!

People r nuts! They were setting off fire crackers and fireworks in my neighborhood. There were at least 7 different spots lighting up the sky with fireworks you see at a regular fireworks show, it was dangerous and way too close to houses. They scared my dogs and others in the area. People don’t use their brains. I get that they were disappointed that there weren’t any big fireworks shows but you don’t light up huge fireworks within feet and yards of homes and people and their pets. Stupid is as stupid does.

I agree with you Firecracker mama. There are too many fireworks being lit in many areas and in our neighborhoods. That’s a recipe for disaster. People have been hurt and killed by them plus buildings have been set on fire when the fireworks accidentally landed on them. Not a good idea for many reasons.

Our pets are tormented by all of this. I wish the law that allowed them would be repealed.

      Thx!
