Tune in to my Wednesday evening’s tv show, A Close Up Look at Animal Welfare Issues, as my panel and I will be expressing our views/opinions about the latest “Hot Topics” concerning animals. The program starts at 6:30 PM (30 minutes).

My panel includes the following: Pam Grubb, Foster Mom/volunteer for Tri-State Bassett Hound Rescue; Wendi Miller, Intake Coordinator for The Cat Shack, Trexlertown, PA;  Janine Choplick, Certified Humane  Officer for the Hillside SPCA, Schuylkill County, PA.

Talking points will be Rep. Mike Keller’s request to legalizing pigeon shoots in PA. Do my guests agree with this amendment to SB 510?

Pennsylvania has been named as having four of the worst puppy mills in the nation. What do my guests have to say about this?

At least 25 cats were killed by blunt force to the head in Yonkers, New York, then placed in plastic bags hanging from trees. What will Wendi, Janine, and Pam have to say?

Tune in to find out about these and more topics. It will be a lively and interesting show! If you want to talk about something, please feel free to call in during this live program at 610-378-0426 (during the show only).

For those who can’t view it on tv, be sure to streamline the show live over the internet by clicking on this link or set your DVR’s.

What about the kittens who were killed by a cop in front of children?

I hate rescues who are posers and use the animals for other means. They need to be checked out more. What can we do?
