According to the Animal Legal Defense Fund,  The Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners has decided to revoke the license of Kristen Lindsey , the woman who killed a neighborhood cat  with a bow and arrow earlier this year..  She brazenly posted photos of her holding the arrow which was plunged into the cat’s head.

The ALDF says that Ms. Lindsey is exercising her right to have a full administrative hearing before the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings.  At this hearing, the vet’s board attorney presents its side of the case. Lindsey, the accused vet may hire an attorney to represent her.  There are several other steps that may be taken including an appeal.

In the interim, Lindsey still has a license to practice veterinary medicine in Texas.

The ALDF posted on Facebook,   We are encouraged to see this matter moving in the right direction and this is a promising development.”

If you would like to demand Justice for Tiger, click on the top photo to sign a petition to revoke Lindsay’s veterinary license.

It was back in April of this year in which Lindsey used her bow and arrow to shoot a “feral cat” and had the audacity to showcase her “kill” by posting the photo with the arrow sticking out of the back of its head.  The feral cat turned out to be her neighbor’s cat who had gone missing earlier that day.  His name was Tiger.

Lindsey was fired from the Washington Animal Clinic in Brenham, Texas after receiving hundreds of angry phone calls from around the world and a bomb threat. Web traffic also crashed their website.

Get rid of this cat killer! She thought her place of employment wouldn’t fire her. Now look at her. Fighting to stop them from revoking her license. She’s going to lose. I don’t think she apologized for her actions.

Good news/bad news. She still has her license but not for long! There’s no way anyone would allow her to keep her license after what she did. REVOKE her license, once and for all!

What a piece of scum. Proud of killing a cat and posting it. Nothing is private anymore. She should’ve known better than to post it. She’s still scum for killing the cat. Idiot of the year!

I just don’t understand what she was thinking. How on earth does a Veterinarian think it’s OK to kill a cat. Tiger was obviously friendly. He did not deserve that. Even if he was feral, she could have called animal control, but it was not. Please revoke her liscense. I hope to god she pays for this disgusting crime!!!!
