Toby needs a foster/forever home!

Toby is a friendly domesticated cat who was found in a feral cat colony.

He was trying to survive, but it wasn’t going very well. His eyes/ears were badly infected, he had an upper respiratory infection as well as a large wound on his back.

The upper respiratory infection and wound have resolved, but he remains at the vet in boarding for two reasons; there is no place for him to go and he still needs help with the eye issue.

His eye infection has not responded to various antibiotics so we are now waiting for the results of a culture.  Hopefully it will provide an answer as to what treatment might help his eyes.

Can anyone help by fostering or adopting Toby? We would also be grateful for any donations toward his care (which has become quite costly). For more information, please call 570-688-6427 or email info@poconoanimalwelfaresociety.org.

Any offers of placement or help for Toby will be greatly appreciated by those taking care of him. THANKS!

It’s kitten season again. I wish people would be responsible and have their cats spayed or neutered. So many cats forced outside where they reproduce. Then people find them and bring them in to shelters only to be killed. Tragic. 🙁
