Tonight’s show- Joe Dwyer, pet parent of Daniel the beagle who survived a gas chamber, will talk about new campaign

March 5, 2014 by Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein 4 Comments

Join me on tonight’s show at 7:30 PM (EST) when Joe Dwyer, man who adopted Daniel the Beagle who survived a gas chamber in October 2011, will be my guest.

Joe and Daniel attended a rally in Pennsylvania held by Senataor Dinniman to end the use of these barbaric chambers in the Keystone state after Daniel’s miraculous survival story. The law was passed and Pennsylvania has banned euthanizing animals via gas chambers.

Joe and Daniel are campaigning to end the use of gas chambers in all animal shelters in the United States. Tune in to find out what you can do to help this worthy cause.

Tune in (locally) to Ch. 15 (Comcast),, Ch. 13 (Service Electric) or you can always streamline the show live over the internet by clicking on this link

Boy, do we need this. Gas chambers are horrible boxes where all types of animals are placed together screaming, fighting, scratching…all in vain to get out of the suffocation. It takes so long for the animals to die in the dark. How anyone could consider this humane is a whack jobQ

I applaud Joe for doing this. This is way past due and no animal shelter should be using gas chambers because they’re so cruel. It’s much cheapers and more humane to euthanize with sodium bentobarbitol.

Is this for real? If it looks like a seagull, acts like a seagull, nine times out of ten, it’s a seagull!! The Game Commission is stretching that quite a bit. Don’t you think? They’ll be flying back to the shore real soon. Some already have.

Why are gas chambers still being used? Doesn’t anyone remember the Holocaust? But, it’s ok to do this to animals? What is wrong with any shelter/rescue/animal caregiver that would use one of these antiquated and most cruel method in which to die when you have lethal injection? Why are some people even in this field when they inflict more pain onto animals. Get rid of them!!
