Why won’t Scott County DA, Ron Hocevar , Press Assault Charges Against Club Owner?

Scott County DA Refuses to Charge Prominent Hunt Club Owner for Assault
On March 9, 2017, Investigators from the animal rights group SHARK ( SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness) were legally filming a live pigeon shoot on public land being held at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club located in Prior Lakes, Minnesota.

While filming outside of the club,  Bill Urseth, owner of the hunting club,  who was clearly angry, approached Steve Hindi, president of SHARK and an investigator of the group, Janet Enoch.

Urseth can be seen screaming at Hindi and grabbing Enoch and her camera in the videos.   Urseth also came in contact with a female police officer as he insisted the filming to stop.

Hindi was flying a remote controlled drone over the live pigeon shoot that was held at the club that day.   Videos taken by SHARK show how the birds are thrown into the air only to be shot moments later.

Even though the Scott County Sheriff’s Deputy was present and personally witnessed the assault as it was filmed from multiple angles (see videos), she did not charged Urseth.   She did tell Urseth SHARK was within their rights to videotape him on public property.

SHARK approached the Scott County DA, Ron Hocevar, who also refused to charge Urseth.

This particular event was a fundraiser for Ducks Unlimited and it has brought great controversy upon the group for holding such an unethical event.

“It is our hope that by exposing this assault law enforcement will be forced to do the right thing,” states Janet Enoch. “If they allow Mr. Urseth to get away with this, then next year he will feel emboldened to do even worse.”

“Mr. Urseth is a wealthy landowner and TV personality and that appears to be enough to protect him from the law,” states SHARK president, Steve Hindi. “If we had done what he did, there’s no question we would have been locked up. Such corruption cannot be allowed to stand.”

Check out Bill Urseth for yourself in the following videos.   Does he deserve to be charged with assault?   Share your thoughts in the comments section.

The DA got paid off. They do it in Berks County, Pa. Happens all the time. It’s a joke. Someone has to find a way to make pigeon shoots animal abuse. I know hunters who think these shoots are not only a joke but they would never consider them hunting.

Bill Urseth sounds like an angry man. “I can understand why you care about animals….you’re a rat”, Urseth says to Steve Hindi. Urseth- get some anger management classes.

How is that a pigeon hunt. A real hunter seeks out his prey. They look and wait, sometimes days. Sometimes, never getting a shot. Here, the pigeons are thrown with the bastards waiting to shoot and kill them. That’s not a hunt. They don’t respect lives of animals. It’s nauseating to watch the video. Urseth needs counseling. He doesn’t understand the law nor others’ rights. Another pig-headed hunter.

A very dignified and respectable man- NOT!!!!!!!!!! Shut up Bill Urseth. Your ignorance is showing. Have some manners and don’t assault a woman. She was on public property.

Bill Urseth’s mind is sick. To kill animals for fun is demented. I worked for Bill in the 1980’s and I didn’t care for him back then. Shame on everyone who sides with him and is paid off by him and the sick bastards that are his group.
